Originally from Modesto, California, Dr. Lewis pursued his undergraduate studies in Public Health at Brigham Young University. He furthered his education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where he obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree. Throughout his time at UMSL, Dr. Lewis distinguished himself as a Student Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and received a national grant for his research on ophthalmic lenses from Hoya Vision. He completed externships at reputable institutions such as Pepose Vision Institute, Scott Air Force Base, and Galanis Cataract and Laser Eye Center, as well as various clinical sites affiliated with the University of Missouri-St. Louis. 

 Having obtained licensure from the Arizona State Board of Optometry, Dr. Lewis is an active member of both the Arizona Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. 

 Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Lewis cherishes his time with his wife, Britney, and their five children. He enjoys traveling and camping with his family, exploring the scenic wonders of the Southwest. During his leisure hours, Dr. Lewis is involved in his church, attends sporting and music events, and delights in playing games with his kids.
