Three Ways to Make Eyecare and Vision Correction Surgery More Affordable
- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)
Swagel Wootton Eye Institute accepts most insurance providers in Arizona.
Although we do our best to keep this list updated, sometimes not all providers are featured. If you do not see your insurance provider below, that does not necessarily mean your plan is not accepted.
Please call or email our patient care team to confirm that we accept your insurance provider for your cataract, pterygium, and other medical eye conditions. Individual insurance plans and the coverage provided can vary by individual. We are happy to check for you.
At Swagel Wootton Eye Institute, we want you to enjoy a life complete with great vision, affordably. We offer financing options on all elective procedures through ALPHAEON Credit and CareCredit. Our financing options include:
- Payment in Full – Payment in full is due 24 hours prior to your surgery and can be paid by cash, cashier’s check or by credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover).
- Extended payment options up to 5 years with approved credit.
- 0% interest for up to 24 months with no money down with approved credit.
At your consultation, your Swagel Wootton Eye Institute surgical counselor can help you with the application process.
Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts
Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) both provide ways to use pretax dollars to pay for medical expenses not typically covered by insurance, including vision correction procedures. You can use both HSA and FSA funds to cover all or part of your procedure. Check out our blogs on how to plan and use your HSA funds and FSA funds and schedule your consultation and ask your surgical counselor how!
