Dr. Lance Stutz is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon. His area of expertise includes cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, keratoconus, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. He particularly enjoys developing and implementing a surgical plan with patients undergoing cataract surgery to fit their goals and lifestyle. Patients appreciate Dr. Stutz’s compassionate approach and dedication to patient education.
Dr. Stutz received his BS in Public Health from Brigham Young University and graduated summa cum laude. After moving to Texas, he received his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He then returned to UT Southwestern to complete his residency in Ophthalmology. Dr. Stutz has recently returned to Arizona and loves living in the East Valley with his wife and 3 children.
