Dr. Joshua Brozek

Dr. Joshua Brozek, M.D., is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon with a strong focus on monofocal, toric, and multifocal lens insertion procedures. Throughout his career, Dr. Brozek has contributed to groundbreaking research in the field of ophthalmology, collaborating as a sub-investigator in clinical trials and co-authoring several publications. 

His journey in the medical field began with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012, during which he earned the Meyerhoff Excellence Award for Leadership, Service, and Scholarship in Medicine. Dr. Brozek’s academic excellence continued as he obtained his Medical Doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 2016. During this period, he honed his surgical skills in various ophthalmic subspecialties, including cataract, cornea, glaucoma, retina, pediatric, and oculoplastic procedures. Afterward, he received tenure at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, Illinois, during which he served as a comprehensive ophthalmologist.
